Next Leaders Are:

§ Practitioners of the priesthood of believers principle. Though churches are led by men and women with leadership gifts, all men/women are called to be ministers in the world.

§ Part of a voluntary, spiritual network and will be treated as family. NLA exists only to serve God by serving emerging leaders. NLA members are servants at heart.

§ Believers in the contemporary Message of Jesus. Although our commitment to the Bible, God's eternal Word to humanity, is in stone, our methods-as reflections of cultural understandings-are subject to constant evaluation and change.

§ Students of excellence. We are convinced that excellence honors God and inspires people.

§ Authentic in their lifestyles and ministry. Manipulation, phoniness, politics or any religious practice that alienates a watching world or partners in ministry dishonors God and reflects poorly on Next Leadership Association. The supernatural is super natural.

§ Straightforward in their business dealings both in and outside the church. Men and women who serve in ministry guard their financial integrity and witness.

§ Inter-denominational in spirit. NLA members are open to any ecumenical relationships that speed the completion of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19,20) while not compromising the non-negotiable truths taught in the Old and New Testaments.

§ Outreach-oriented. NLA is unique in that most members are leadership-gifted with particular emphasis on effectiveness in the greater community as well as the body of Christ.

§ Committed to passionate teaching. Weekly church and other ministry depends on thoughtful, articulate, creative communication that brings practical application of scriptural truths.
