Have you ever noticed that life’s great moments and events are marked by parties?
You are born There’s a Party
You have a Birthday There’s a party
You go to school there’s a party
You graduate there’s a party
There’s a marriage and you guessed it- there’s a party!
Then you die and people gather and there’s a party!
Ok so why shouldn’t there be a party over the single greatest decision of your life? The decision that you have made is:
So let’s begin with today there is a party in heaven and there is a party. This party is over you and your decision to Follow Jesus.
Boom! Bang! Now can you see there are streamers and noise makers and a cake with your name on it!!!!
Yeah YOU and YEAH Jesus- the Sinners Savior!

What does it mean to follow JESUS?
Following Jesus is a two part deal. The first is the one moment when you decide to make Jesus the personal savior – the one who forgives you of your sins. The second part is a life long journey it really means you have decided to make this faith journey a process of belonging and becoming. The process will make you more like the one who forgave you and promised to give you eternal life.
God himself wants you to have a meaningful today tomorrow and forever. HE wants to have a friendship relationship with you. That can only happen when you accept his Son Jesus as your personal savior. God will not force this on you. He wants it to be your choice. He wants you to choose his way and his plan. See it is always your choice. You can choose to walk with Him or you can choose to walk through life by yourself. DO life my WAY! Or DO life GOD”S WAY.

- If you choose life on your own the decision will separate you from HIM.
- On your own you are just that separated and on your own…
- Good works won’t reattach you to God.
- Religion won’t realign you to God
- Morality won’t make you right before God
- You can add Money won’t buy you God, Knowledge, science, or education won’t get God into you.
- Only the way made possible through the birth, life, death, resurrection and ascension of God’s one and only son- Jesus can!

But…
A wise man named Solomon said,” there is a way that seems right to man but the end of that decision is death.”
Jesus has answer to that dilemma when he said” I am the way and the truth and the life to get to my Father you must come through me.”
The New Testament writer Paul told the people of Rome, “God showed us his love for us by sending us his son to die for us because we were sinners, separated by our choices yet he died for us while we were out of relationship with him.”
The bridge is no other than God’s Son Jesus Christ. In the moment of choice- I CHOOSE Jesus to be the bridge and the guide to my eternal destiny. It happens when I believe and call out His name…
“Jesus forgive me of my sin.” That’s the moment you by choice have exercised your free will and have decided to follow Jesus.
That’s the moment the party begins.
The new testament writer Paul further tells the people of Rome …”If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
But…
